With the Gold Series, Cort introduces a fully solid acoustic guitar series with thermally treated ("torrified") tops and bracing. "Age To Vintage" is the name Cort gives to this process, which simulates the ageing process of the soundboard over the decades. Right from the start, you get that wonderfully full, balanced sound, rich in overtones, that you know from old, well-rehearsed instruments. The very thin UV varnish of the Gold Series supports the excellent vibration characteristics of the guitar. In addition, the "Doublelock Neckjoint" was developed as another important element for the best possible sound, which improves the vibration transmission by means of additional bolting of the neck to the body.
